I spent 28 years in corporate sales — building brands, breaking records, and earning recognition at every stop. From the outside, it looked like success. But inside, something was missing.
As a corporate drug rep, I was financially rewarded but never fulfilled. I’ve always believed true success comes from helping others win. I grew up playing team sports — from Pop Warner to college football, where I was blessed to be part of the 1992 National Championship Team. That experience taught me that real victory doesn’t come from standing alone; it comes from standing together, working as one for a common goal.
After decades of helping companies grow, I realized it was time to build something of my own — something with purpose. That purpose became Investus Group LLC.
At IVG, we’re not just another finance or consulting company — we’re a complete one-stop shop designed to help people build, grow, and sustain their dreams. We offer credit repair, business planning, business and commercial financing, marketing services, real estate investor loans, and merchant funding. Every service we provide was born from experience — the kind you only gain through both success and struggle.
Because I’ve been there.
I’ve made mistakes in business. I’ve failed, learned, and rebuilt. And I decided to turn those lessons into tools that could help others avoid the same missteps.
What drives us is heart over profit. We believe in Head-Heart Alignment — doing what’s right for our clients, not just what’s beneficial for the company. We’ll never put someone in a loan that doesn’t benefit them. We don’t tell clients “no.” Instead, we show them how. It may take time and effort, but we walk beside them every step of the way.
I know firsthand what it means to lose and rebuild. Losing my father at 12 changed everything — but it also taught me resilience, faith, and the value of people who pour into you when life knocks you down. Many poured into me when I needed it most. Now, I’ve made it my mission to pour back into others — to inspire, inform, and empower those willing to work for their goals.
Through our nonprofit, BridgeBuilders, we aim to extend that impact — helping individuals and communities realize that we all have the power to shape our destiny.
In the next 5 to 10 years, I see IVG becoming a regional, then national, lending and development partner for entrepreneurs — a platform where people can build not just businesses, but legacies. I want our legacy to be simple: that we gave our all to create something meaningful, something our family and community can carry forward.
Success to me isn’t just profit. It’s knowing we’ve helped families breathe easier, helped dreamers become doers, and helped others believe in what’s possible again.
We’ve learned through trial and error, through passion and persistence. But what makes us different is that we lead with empathy. We listen first. We understand that clients don’t know what they don’t know — and that’s okay. We’re here to guide them, not judge them.
